Bollywood expressed deep shock over the sudden demise of
Sridevi. Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Mahesh
Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Preity Zinta and many others
offered their condolences to the Kapoor family on Twitter.
Minutes back, legend and superstar Kamal Haasan who starred opposite
Sridevi in Sadma (1983) poured his heart on Twitter.
He wrote, “Have witnessed Sridevi's life from an adolescent teenager to the magnificeint lady she became. Her stardom was well deserved. Many happy moments with her flash through my mind including the last time I met her. Sadma's lullaby haunts me now. We'll miss her.”

Sadma is a cult classic and Sridevi’s performance in the film, remains one
of her best. Although, Sadma didn’t receive any major awards, Sridevi, Kamal
Haasan and writer Balu Mahendra were nominated for the Filmfare Awards that
year.
Legendary actress Sridevi succumbed to a fatal cardiac arrest in Dubai,
just a couple of hours back. The attack was massive and she could not be
revived despite several efforts.
